Matt Recchia

Sharktank (February 14th, 2018 @ Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia)

“This Sharktank was bonkers. The energy in the room was already high, and this sent it to the moon. Jefe had the same effect at the end of the night. Again, another killer show where any song was top notch.”

Jefe (February 20th, 2018 @ Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado)

This one needs no explanation. A dream setlist; followed by Jefe as the encore!? Are you kidding me?! If you haven’t listened to this show yet, you’re missing out on a serious party.”

Big Ugly (February 26th, 2018 @ Belly Up in Solana Beach, California)

‘Who doesn’t love Big Ugly in the encore spot? This Big Ugly ended another fantastic show at one of my favorite smaller venues in California. The way the stage sits in the room, the band is almost surrounded by audience on three sides. Stages like this usually give the band more energy, which shows in this killer set!’

Rosanna Freedman

Koubaili (June 21st, 2018 @ Festival Gnaoua in Essaouira, Morocco)

“The entire experience spending a week with the Gnawa musicians was a real special one.

The live performance of this song written together with them perfectly epitomised our time there.”

What About Me? (June 23rd, 2019 @ Bitef Art Cafe in Belgrade, Serbia)

After a long day of logistical challenges and it being our first ever show in Serbia, things were a little tense. The crowd entered with a crazy energy and the guys gave it right back.”

Felicity Hall

Lingus (June 23rd, 2019 @ Bitef Art Cafe in Belgrade, Serbia)

“This was the third encore of the night - we'd had a super stressful day with a flooded venue, SO much going wrong and basically a monsoon happening, but the audience were so into the show that the band had an absolutely wonderful time and went back for 3 encores, simply because they were enjoying it so much - sums up the whole essence of SP for me.”

Thing of Gold (November 15th, 2019 @ O2 Apollo in Manchester, United Kingdom)

“I wasn't working this show but went to it with my parents. I hadn't seen the band for a while as I'd been on another tour, and along with the band a whole host of usually non-touring crew were at the show too - I sat with my family, at a hometown show (for me), watching my other 'family' onstage, and felt 100% content and happy and in a perfect place in life.”

Clare McEnerney

Bad Kids to the Back (June 12th, 2019 @ Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Tennessee

The crowd was so high energy this night, definitely a memorable show for me, and one of the most memorable songs from tour last year.”

Intelligent Design (October 25th, 2019 @ Train in Aarhus, Denmark)

“I remember being worried about lighting this tune as I had never heard it before soundcheck on this day, I listened to the studio version on repeat and walked around the city. It fit the vibe perfectly and I had so much fun doing the lights come showtime!”

Mason Davis

Lingus (June 21st, 2018 @ Festival Gnaoua in Essaouira, Morocco)

This trip was such an amazing cultural experience, but to watch the music change over a rehearsal week into a fusion of the two art forms and then hear the final product was something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”

Xavi (September 23rd, 2019 @ The Music Farm in Charleston, South Carolina)

This point of that tour was so fluid, the music was so engrained in the fellas and just flowing differently every night, and this was also the first time my whole family got to come to see the show!

Michael Harrison

Semente (November 1st 2019 @ TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Netherlands)

Bad Kids to the Back (November 1st 2019 @ TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Netherlands)

"The general energy & interplay from this show was particularly good. I needed it that night. These tracks are particular favourites, but there’s more ‘on’ that list than ‘not.’"
